Day 3

Island Hopping

We woke up early in the morning at 10:00 am and went to Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park to travel to two islands. We went to Sapi and Manukan islands on a speedboat. PEEWWW!!!! (Boy, was it bumpy!) We first went to Sapi island. The seawater there is shallow and clear. There were many fish there, even in shallow waters. We didn't do much activities and see many things. The island has many komodo dragons! We saw a big lizard chasing a chicken while walking through the island. There were many people playing in the beautiful shallow waters, there is also activities like scuba diving and zipline which you can enjoy doing at Sapi Island. We then went to Manukan island. When we reached, we wanted to eat lunch and we found a place for us to buy food to eat. There were some fish and also some sea urchins at certain parts of shallow waters where u can't enter to avoid people getting injured. There were also a number of people who were there swimming and playing in the sea. There is a resort at Manukan Island if you wanted to stay at the island for a day or more. We went back and went to eat Bak Kut Teh for dinner which was still okay.

Day 4

Signal Hill Observation Tower

Climbing up to an Observation Tower... it take us about 5 minutes, to walk up some stairs to this place. (But it's worth it!) There's a snack bar there. Going to the toilet costs MRD$0.30. Bring your coins!

Day 5

Kinabalu National Park

It takes approximately 2 hours of a taxi ride from Kota Kinabalu city center to go to this park. The park covers an area of about 750 square km with altitude ranging from 600 metres up to the summit of Mount Kinabalu at 4,095.2 metres. There is quite a scenery there. You know, there is a villa at the valley. Some dogs came up and begged us for food! Of course, we didn't ignore him, we fed him. I mean, like, who could resist a beg of a cute dog? There is a restaurant which has a toilet, prepare those coins!

Poring Hot Springs

It's fun, for everyone, mostly. We took a 'hike' and got to walk on a few bridges. DON'T LOOK DOWN. There are many pools there with a few restaurants. There is a place for hot tub, too! We then went to a diary farm to look at the cows being milked, and we got to feed baby cows and baby goats. Milk for goats and grass for cows. We got to see many cows roaming around a field. After that, we went back and took pictures of the sunset.

Farm, Fun
